Courtney’s love for animals has been a part of her for as long as she can remember. From the age of 7, she knew she wanted to be in the veterinary field, and that passion has only grown stronger over the years. After graduating from St. Mary’s University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Courtney is now working as a Tech Assistant at SAVE, where she thrives in the fast-paced world of small animal emergency care. The variety of cases and the chance to help pets in need keeps every day exciting and meaningful for her.
What Courtney loves most about her job is seeing pets come in for the care they deserve and knowing she played a part in that healing process. She also values the close-knit team she works with, many of whom have become lifelong friends. The support and camaraderie at SAVE make every challenge that much easier to tackle.
At home, Courtney’s love for animals is clear. She shares her life with four dogs (Moose, Bear, Berta, and Brie) and four cats (Koda, Floki, Lafonda, and Taco). When she’s not caring for her furry family, Courtney enjoys equestrian activities, attending car events with friends, and spending time outdoors camping and hiking with her pets and loved ones.
Courtney’s dream of becoming a veterinarian is the driving force behind everything she does, and her commitment to animal care is truly inspiring.
