Zoe Williams, DVM Medical Director, ER Veterinarian

Dr. Zoe’s love for animals and medicine began in childhood, when she would create “remedies” from berries and plants in her garden, dreaming of helping those in need. This early passion grew into a career when she graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Today, Dr. Zoe specializes in emergency medicine and palliative care, fields that allow her to make a meaningful impact on pets and their families during some of their most challenging moments.

What she loves most about working at SAVE is the hospital’s supportive and collaborative culture. The team’s commitment to mentoring one another, sharing knowledge, and staying current with best practices creates a positive, learning-focused environment. Dr. Zoe also takes great pride in being part of a team that helps train and mentor the next generation of veterinary professionals, especially as the veterinary field faces workforce shortages. According to the team, Dr. Zoe is widely recognized for her calm and composed demeanor, no matter the situation. Her ability to stay level-headed and provide clear guidance and solutions under pressure is something our team greatly appreciates.

Outside of work, you’ll find Dr. Zoe nurturing her very many houseplants or off on her next mountaineering adventure. She enjoys quiet moments with puzzles, reading, and camping, always finding joy in the simple pleasures that nature and adventure have to offer.
