Katie has always had a natural connection with animals, which inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She graduated from Olds College’s RVT program in June 2022 and has since found her passion in emergency medicine. Katie has a special love for anesthesia, enjoying the challenge of complex cases and the opportunity to grow her skills. For Katie, the most fulfilling part of being a veterinary technician is helping pets recover and seeing them reunite with their families - it’s a moment that never gets old. Whether comforting a nervous pet, offering support to clients, or working closely with the team, Katie’s compassion and kindness are always evident. She is a valued member of the team, bringing warmth and empathy to every situation. When Katie's not caring for animals at SAVE, she loves watching movies, putting together puzzles, and going on adventures with her two Shiba Inus, Ryker and Rosie.
